This is an outstanding and detailed Teachers Resource Guide for Barren Grounds,  the first novel in David Robertson’s Misewa Saga. This novel is incredible and I’ve used this guide very successfully in my class. The novel is best with grade 5 and up thought I’ve had grade 4s who loved it.
